Microsoft Windows 11

I just scanned in a long document.  I broke it up into multiple sections.  After the last scan, I went to save and the scan just disappeared.  This has been happening of late.  I go to push save and it just disappears.  Is it stored anywhere that I can retrieve it.

Welcome to the HP Community --

I am not aware of a scan app or software that automatically saves some content and then continues with the rest of the scan job.

"All or Nothing"

How many pages you can scan before the job collapses depends on the amount of content on each page, the type and stability of the connection from printer / computer / network, and the amount of printer memory.

The solution is to end the job and save it while everything is still connected, while the app is still working and connected, and before the printer runs out of memory.

In my opinion, the job is lost.
