• Lift the top cover of the printer to access the scanner bed.
• Place the document or photo you want to scan face-down on the scanner glass. Ensure that it is positioned according to the guides or markings on the scanner bed to get the desired alignment.
• Close the top cover gently to secure the document or photo in place.
• On the printer's control panel, locate the scan button. It may be labeled as "Scan," "Start Scan," or represented by a symbol like a magnifying glass.
• Press the scan button. This will initiate the scanning process.
• Depending on the printer settings, you may be prompted to select scan options such as the scan type (color, black and white), resolution, and destination (computer, email, etc.). Follow the on-screen instructions or use the printer's display panel to make your selections.
• Once you have selected your scan options, press the "OK" or "Start Scan" button to begin scanning.
• The printer will then scan the document or photo, and the scanned image will be sent to the chosen destination or saved to the connected computer.
