HP Smart run scan but it is said the scanner is not detected!

Here’s what you can try:

Start with the basics, turn off your printer, computer, and router for 30 seconds, then turn them back on. If you’re using a USB connection, test another port or cable. For Wi-Fi, confirm that both your printer and computer are connected to the same network.

Next, update or reinstall your drivers and HP Smart app. Head to the HP Support website, locate your printer model, and download the latest drivers. Uninstall the current ones on your system before reinstalling.

If you're on Windows, check your scanner settings. In Control Panel > Devices and Printers, remove your printer and re-add it under Settings > Devices > Add a printer/scanner. Alternatively, try scanning through the "Windows Fax and Scan" tool found in the Start menu.
