We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

When i choose the Scan button on the printer and scan one document, the scanned document appears on my computer screen. If I choose the Scan button on the printer and scan multiple pages, I cannot find where the scan goes. Can someone tell me where to look or what changes I need to make?

Hi @Lam299

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I understand how confusing it feels when a single-page scan shows up right away, but multi-page scans seem to vanish. Let’s walk through this together step by step so you can capture all your pages in one smooth file.

Check the scanning method being used

  • When you press the Scan button directly on the printer, it often defaults to scanning a single page unless the printer has an automatic document feeder (ADF).
  • If you’re placing pages one by one on the flatbed, the printer won’t automatically combine them unless you use the HP App on your computer.

Use the HP App on your computer for multi-page scans

  • Open the HP App on your Windows PC.
  • Select Scan.
  • Choose Source: if your printer has an ADF, select it for multiple pages. If you’re using the flatbed, you’ll need to add pages manually.
  • After scanning the first page, click Add Pages (or a similar option) before finishing. This lets you build a single PDF with all pages.
  • Once all pages are scanned, select Save and choose the location on your computer.

Verify the save location

  • By default, the HP App usually saves scans in your Pictures > Scans folder on Windows.
  • You can change the save path in the HP App settings if you prefer another folder.

If scanning from the printer control panel

  • For multi-page scans, ensure you’re loading all pages into the ADF before pressing Scan. The printer will then send them as one file to your computer.
  • If you’re using the flatbed, the printer’s panel alone won’t combine pages—you’ll need the HP App to do that.

I truly appreciate the effort you’ve already put into testing single-page scans. With these adjustments, you’ll be able to gather all your pages into one neat file instead of hunting for missing scans.
