Trying to scan document but its giving a mirror image HELP !

If your HP Deskjet 2700e is producing mirror images when scanning, you might want to check the scanning settings and make sure they are configured correctly. Here's a general guide that might help:

Open the HP Smart App:

  • Ensure that your printer is connected to your computer or mobile device.
  • Open the HP Smart App on your computer or mobile device.

Select Scan:

  • In the HP Smart App, look for the Scan option. It may be labeled as "Scan," "Scan a Document," or something similar.

 

heck Settings:

  • Look for an option that allows you to adjust scanning settings.
  • Ensure that the mirroring or flipping option is turned off. It might be labeled as "Mirror Image," "Flip," or something similar. Make sure this setting is set to "Off" or "Normal."

Preview the Scan:

  • Some scanning applications provide a preview option before the final scan. Use this feature to ensure that the document appears correctly before the actual scan.

Check Advanced Settings:

  • If there are advanced settings or options for scanning, explore them to see if there's any setting related to image orientation or mirroring.

Use HP Easy Scan (for Mac):

  • If you're using a Mac, you might also use the HP Easy Scan application. Check its settings to make sure there's no mirroring option enabled.

Update Drivers and Software:

  • Ensure that your printer drivers and scanning software are up to date. Visit the HP website to download the latest drivers and software for your printer model.

Reset to Default Settings:

  • If you've made changes to the settings and are still experiencing issues, consider resetting the scanning settings to default and trying again.
