Hi @Splivich,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

When pages get stuck inside the document feeder of your HP Officejet 8015e, it can be frustrating, but there are steps you can take to resolve the issue.

  • Turn off the printer: First, turn off the printer to prevent any damage to the mechanism or the documents.
  • Open the document feeder cover: Locate the cover of the document feeder and open it carefully.
  • Remove stuck pages: Gently pull out any stuck pages from the feeder. Be careful not to tear the pages or damage the feeder mechanism.
  • Check for any obstructions: Inspect the feeder area for any remaining bits of paper or debris that may be causing the jam.
  • Close the document feeder cover: Once you've removed all the stuck pages and cleared any obstructions, close the feeder cover securely.
  • Turn on the printer: After ensuring everything is clear and properly closed, turn the printer back on.
  • Test the document feeder: Test the document feeder by attempting to scan again. Make sure it's working smoothly and without any further issues.

If the problem persists after following these steps, there might be a more serious issue with the feeder mechanism.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
