Prior to my problem I was able to print and scan just fine on my HP Envy 7855, including duplex.  A network issue arose and I was still able to print, but I lost all scanning functions.  I couldn't find a solution, so I removed all installed drivers relating to the HP7855.

I went out to the HP website, identified my printer and seeing all the available HP7855 drivers ,they recommended the HP Smart App.  I downloaded and installed the HP Smart App driver.  I'm able to print duplex, but I can only scan one sided using the document feeder.  There is no option to duplex scan.

I went out to the HP website again and when I look for HP7855 drivers there not available.  Only the HP Smart app is howing.

How can i resolve this problem and get back to duplex scanning ? I'm running Windows 11 on a Dell laptop.

HP Recommended

I eventually deleted the HP Smart App and located the drivers for the HP 7855.  Downloaded and installed.  All functionality has been restored.
