i continue to receive fax log sheets each day from my HP Office, Jet Pro 8020 series printer. It's using up my paper. I'm not receiving any faxes just these sheets that have Last Transaction-date, time type, station id duration pages, result. How do I stop?

I understand you are trying to stop your HP OfficeJet Pro 8020 from printing unwanted fax log sheets, you'll need to adjust the fax settings on the printer. Here’s how you can do that:

 

Access the Printer's Control Panel:

  • On the printer's control panel, tap the Setup icon (it looks like a gear).

Navigate to Fax Settings:

  • Select Fax Settings or Fax Setup (the exact wording may vary depending on your printer model).

Find the Fax Reports Option:

  • Look for an option related to Fax Reports or Fax Logs. This might be under a submenu like Reports or Log Settings.

Turn Off Fax Log Reports:

  • Set the option for Fax Logs or Fax Confirmation Reports to Off or None. This will prevent the printer from printing fax log sheets automatically.

Save Changes:

  • Confirm and save your changes.

If you can't find these options on the printer's control panel, you can also adjust settings via the printer’s software on your computer:

 

Open the HP Smart App or HP Printer Assistant:

  • On your computer, open the HP Smart app or HP Printer Assistant.

Go to Fax Settings:

  • Navigate to the Fax section and find the settings for Fax Reports or Fax Confirmation Reports.

Disable the Reports:

  • Turn off the fax log or confirmation report settings.

Save and Apply Changes:

  • Confirm and apply the changes.
