Product: hp officejet pro 6978

When I print a photograph from my laptop or my iphone to my hp officejet pro 6978 it comes out with fine red horizontal lines.  I have clean the cleaned the printhead several times and the diagnostic page looks fine. The test page also looks normal but photographs do not. Thank you for your help.

Has it been always happening with the photos or were photo's printing well before?

 

What is the brand and size of photo paper being used?
