Is there any way to raise the volume on my device? I am attempting to use the fax feature, and I need to enter a long distance code after dialing the number, but i can't hear the prompt.

Thanks for your question. There is a setting for changing the fax volume.

To set the fax sound volume

1. From the printer control panel display, touch Fax .

2. Touch Setup , and then touch Preferences .

3. Touch Fax Volume.

4. Touch to select Soft, Loud, or Off .

You may also access this feature by pressing the Fax Status button on the Home screen.

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Forums.

From the Printer Front Panel, swipe down and go to the Setup Menu (Gear icon)

From there, go to Setup > Preferences > Sound Effects Volume (there is Mute, Soft, Normal and Loud options)

Hope that helps!
