Automatic Document Feeder Settings

HP Office Jet Pro 6978
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When I load a multi-page document into the automatic document feeder to make a copy, it comes out last page on top and I have to put the pages in order by hand.  I don't remember ever having this problem before and would like to know if there is a setting I can adjust.  The printer prints first page on top okay, but does not copy first page on top.  I need the automatic document feeder to pull the bottom page first when copying.

Automatic Document Feeder Settings

@advocations Greetings from the HP Community!

I suggest you perform a hard reset and retry the same:

  1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.

  2. Unplug the power cord from the power source.

  3. Wait 60 seconds.

  4. Reconnect the power cord to a wall outlet and to the printer.

    NOTE:

HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

  5. Turn on the printer to complete the reset.
