I haven an HP LaserJet MFP M426fdn. 
I'm using the Scan to Network Folder feature of this HP Printer/Scanner and it works. 
However, when I change my password for my Account, I also have to change the password in the Password field 

... in the Network Folder Configuration of this HP Printer/Scanner. 

 

How can I avoid doing this ?

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

 

Unfortunately, you will need to change the password in the Password field ... in the Network Folder Configuration of this HP Printer/Scanner (or any other printers).  This is because the account password is not linked to the printer (when scan to network was setup, it uses the most current password and would not know if the password is changed)
