My scanner only produces blurred images.  Any ideas to correct?

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

 

Were the scanning done by ADF (Feeder) or Flatbed?

 

If it's by flatbed scanner, are you scanning a book or just pieces of document?   Was the can lid covered fully and it's pressed against the paper?

 

Do you see the same issue with copying?

It's a flatbed scanner scanning single documents with the lid closed.  Copies seem to be ok

Can try to restart the Printer (power off and then power on) with the scanner lid closed?

 

This is to allow the scanner to calibrate properly.

 

What software or apps were used to scan?  Can check if there is an update to the software/apps?
