Can I copy on the B110a but print to a different default printer attached to Computer

I have a strange question I know but one I’m hoping someone may be able to answer?

the hp photosmart B110a has a copy function, effectively scanning a document and allowing to print immediately, but the print seems to go straight to this B110a printer . What I would like to do so to be able to copy, but print on a default printer attached to the computer the B110a is connected to which is of course an external one.

is that a possibility? - I assume I could scan, save and print on the computer, but wanted to see if the copy function can be setup to do this somehow.

the reason I am asking is that the print element of the printer has broken, but the scan / copy function still works - at present the copy just says load paper to this printer to print, which of course I can’t do..

• Scanning and printing functions require an external device to be connected to the printer such as a computer or a mobile device if supported. Whereas copy is a standalone functionality that happens on the printer only.
• This feature cannot be used on a computer.
