Note: From May 1, 2024, the HP Scan and Capture app will no longer be available (retired) in the Microsoft Store and HP will not release any further app updates. Alternatively, you can download HP Smart from the Microsoft Store. For more information on how to set up your printer using the HP Smart app, go to HP printer setup (HP Smart app).

We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

Until recently (mid-May 2020),I could successfully and quickly scan a document using HP Smart, then save it on my iPad to Files/Google Drive. Suddenly, that no longer works; now I have to open the Google Drive app on the printer and go through several steps, with no preview option, to save the document.  Where’s the original, convenient option?

Due to the current global COVID-19 situation, we're seeing an influx of customers coming in for support. We appreciate your patience.

 

Follow the steps below -

 

Uninstall the HP Smart app

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Select General.
  3. Click iPhone (Or iPad)
  4. Select HP Smart.
  5. Select the option to Delete.

and install the updated version of HP smart app -Install and Use the HP Smart App (Android, Apple iOS, iPadOS)

 

Try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

 

and also, To update the iOS device, refer to this document - Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
