Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I purchased my printer in February 2019. Everything worked fine. On Friday I tried printing received an error message that printer was offline. Restarted the printer received a message fw is corrupt. Restarted again printer working ok. Today I'm unable to scan. When I click on the software. It says unable to communicate with scanner. I used the HP Print and scan doctor followed direction that said to restart the computer I'm still unable to scan. Please assist
