Digital Fax Archive Quit Working

We have used the Digital Fax Archive for several years without a problem. However, our OS recently updated to Mac OS 10.15.7. Since the update, the Digital Fax Archive no longer works. I've tried setting it up again on several of our computers. It appears to be set up correctly. However, the fax machine will no longer send a fax to the computer. It will print out the fax, but normally we have that disabled to save toner and paper. 

I suspect something happened in the recent OS update.  I cannot find an update to the HP Utility program.  

Does anyone have a solution for this problem?

Try reconfiguring the digital fax setup, refer to the document HP Printers - Use HP Digital Fax to Receive Faxes to a Computer or Email.

Also, Update the printer firmware

Download available firmware updates from the HP website

With the printer on and connected to the computer, go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads, and then identify your printer. Look for and install any available firmware updates. Refer to the document HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

I have updated the firmware.

I have also tried setting it up on several of the other office Macs. However, it will not send the incoming fax to any of them. We can still scan files to the various computers.  So, the HP will connect to the computers, it will just not send the digital faxes anymore.

I think I have it working again. I ended up accessing the service menu and doing a semi-full reset.  I then set the printer/fax up again and now the digital fax archive is working again.
