Product: HP LaserJet 700 color MFP M775

I seem to be having an issue with a printer - HP LaserJet 700 color MFP M775. 

 

I go to "copy" and scan a document digitally, and it takes hours for the email to come through. I was working fine last week, and nothing has changed in the meantime (no updates, changes to hardware, connections). However, now it's taking a ridiculous amount of time to email.

 

It says successfully on the printer within seconds, but the email takes hours to actually get sent. This week alone, I've scanned a documents and left it overnight, and it still hadn't come through.

 

Can anyone advise what I can do to improve this at all? Thanks!
