Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Forums.

Seems there's no driver for Win 10 for your scanner.

Can you try this alternative scan software :

HP Scan Extended

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi

Once it's downloaded and installed, go to Start > All Programs > HP > HP Scan Extended > Run "HP Scan Extended"

Let us know if that works.

Hi, this is what worked for me with Windows 10 64 bit and the HP 7560 scanjet.

Download the wondows 8.1 drivers from https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-scanjet-7650-document-flatbed-scanner/434502

Run to install.

I prefer using the HP scan Extended as it is fast from ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi

You can also use these Apps from the Microsoft  STORE;

  • HP Scan and Capture
  • Scan

You could probaly also use the Microsoft Fax & Scan app

Good luck

Dear HP Support & Everyone,

Our user is currently using the HP ScanJet7650 scanner. The new PC had been set up with Microsoft Windows 10. I also downloaded the Windows 8.1 (64bit) driver and HP Extended utility according to the advice in the Community.

It works well after installing both driver and software but the user told me that there is no "PDF" file type that would be chosen when scanning.  He said he can select the PDF file type in legacy Windows 7.

Does anyone tell me how to resolve it?

Many thanks in advance.
