We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

The error is publicly known.  I get an error message telling me to load the document into the feeder.  This is a non-option with photos and even when I put a document into the feeder, it is not recognized and the same error message appears.  When will this problem be fixed? It has been going on for months.

Hp is working on a resolution together with Apple.

Thanks for the reply. You are just the messenger and can’t do anything about the situation, but it is strange that this problem is still going on this long after the release and at least one subsequent corrective update.

macOS 10.15.3 (released 1/28/2020) contains the fix for HP Easy Scan.  Once updated HP Easy Scan will be able to scan from the glass or the ADF as normal.

 

Scan to Computer is also fixed with 10.15.3.

 

I did notice that if the printer is in sleep mode, some times an error will be reported.  But if you wake the printer by inserting a page in the ADF or touching the screen you will be able to scan normally.
