Envy 7640 Scanner won't scan from menu.

Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

I have a printer/copier/scanner/fax that has suddenly stop scanning from the menu. The error message is:

The printer could not connect to Web Services. The server might be busy or temporarily unavailable. Try again later.

 

I have run the HP printer/scanner tools and I can scan from the tool and it says all things are fixed. But this hasn't fixed the error. Anyone else have this problem and know a fix?

To assist better -

  1. Are you trying to scan to email /computer or scan to network folder?
  2. Are you trying to scan from the printer control panel or the computer?
  3.  Did you recently change the password?
  4.  Is your printer connected to the Web-Services?
