@RA_2 Welcome to HP Community!

I have a few steps that should help resolve the issue:

Step 1: Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor

Use the HP Print and Scan Doctor to fix the issue.

Download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor  to automatically diagnose and resolve printer hardware and connection issues.

If the issue persists, continue to the next step.

Step 2: Stop the scanning processes, and then restart the printer and the computer

Use Windows Task Manager to stop the scanning processes, and then restart the HP product and computer.

(By the end of this article all the issues should be resolved)
