Scanjet G4010
macOS 10.15 Catalina

After downloading the latest available driver (10.14) I can not get the scanner or the computer to communicate. (All wired connections secure. USB outlets are functioning) I suspect that it an operating system issue looking at other posts by the community.  Has the issue with Catalina 10.15.7 been resolved?  I have several thousand slides to scan for a project so the work around is too laborious to consider.

 

Signed not normally a Mac user but weird things happen in all families.
