Fax failed the "line noise test"

I have setup this all in one printer up in my place of work for my boss and we can't get the Fax to work. The test fax setup keeps coming back to a failed fax for a line noise test and we have a ADSL filter hooked up and It has me stumped. Can you help me with this problem we really need our fax for our job.

What model printer are you using?

Kindly check the line connection. Make sure to use a 2-wire fax cable to setup a fax.

Refer to this document to know how to setup fax on the printer. For a better understanding, you may watch this video.

On the printer screen, go to Fax settings and turn off ECM.

Go to Tools > Run fax test.
