Fax question with a HP Office Jet Pro 6978

I have purchases a HP Office Jet Pro 6978 probably more for scan to e mail and printing, really excited , can not believe i waited this long to get one, Anyway, I figured i would have a bit of an issue with the Fax because I have a Virgin home line, it does not plug into wall it is the ZTE modem thing that runs my phone. I have searched since sunday relentlessly to try to figure this out, I either will get a new land line with another provider, or figure it out, Also is a regular phone cord the same as a fax cord. Any help would be appreciated driving me crazy

You may follow the below guidelines to connect and set up faxing with your printer:

You may be able to connect the printer to the phone line if you have an analog telephone adapter (ATA), you will need a standard 2-wire phone cors, which should be connected from 1LINE port of your printer to the online port of your ZTE modem (assuming there is a such).

Hi there, I am going to try this but i wont be able to until I purchase what you are saying to get, the way i have it set up now was a regular phone cord from printer to the ZTE base which acts like a mobile phone it is what you get when you have Virgin or other home phones besides telus or shaw.

Hi there i did end up just getting another line and that is not the problem but i do have a problem i did the four months free ink, and been waiting now for almost 2 months for the black ink says its been send like along time ago, not sure what to do
