Product: HP Officejet 4650 "all in one"
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit)

HP should have let the consumer know in the product description that the 4650 does not scan multiple pages. Now I have a printer I cannot us effectively.  It is basically functioning as an expensive paperweight. Had they provided this information in the product description I would not have purchased the printer.

Scans multiple pages just fine it you have all the settings correct.

 

Scanning issues…

 

Please try this scan solution:

 

HP Scan Extended


For Windows:   ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi


Once downloaded and installed, go to Start > All Programs > HP > HP Scan Extended > Run "HP Scan Extended"

 

Check all your settings and expand all tabs and all + signs to see all options that available.

  1. Maximize and resize the scanning screen on your computer.
  2. Scan over 300 ppi from the Glass or ADF.
