We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

Officejet 6600 wont feed paper and I’ve completed all troubleshooting techniques found online.  Do I need to purchase a new printer?   Really like this printer, it’s been great!  I realize the warranty has expired.  Thanks for any help.

Have you tried making a standalone copy and check if the issue persists?

Are you using US letter size papers?

Make sure the papers are properly loaded in the tray and adjust the paper width guides. To know/verify how to load papers, refer to this document.

 

I'm afraid the issue seems to be with the paper pick rollers. Let us try these steps to resolve this issue:

 

Reset the printer

  1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  2. Wait at least 60 seconds.
  3. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
  4. Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
  5. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.

 

Update the printer firmware

Also, perform solution two and three mentioned in this document.
