HP 6970 Printer does not fax PDF documents

No Brand Name
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My new hp 6970 printer is connected to a Windows 10 Pro computer by a usb cable.  It performs well all functions exept it will not fax PDF documents from the computer.

I installed the Adobe Acrobar Reader DC , but this did not correct the problem.

Will appreciate your help.

Hi Betty0610 , Thanks for your reply. No, I am not referring to digital fax. My problem is with being unable to fax pdf documents stored in my computer.

I tried to install Adobe AcrobatReader DC on the Windows 10 computer, but the instalation failed. Any ideas ?
