Color printing works fine.  Color copying produces lines of varying color the entire width of the page running the entire length of the page

Hi,

Power off your printer and unplug the power cable from the back of it and from the wall socket.

 

Connect the cable back to your printer, then connect it directly to a wall socket and try copying, be sure not to use any power strips, surge protectors, etc. to deny any possible power issue which may cause a such.
