My HP 8615 OfficeJet is selected and prints e-mails but the following error message appears when I try to scan a document:
The HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 was not found!

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the scanning issue you are facing with the printer.
Have you tried printing different types of documents like PDF, Word or Webpages and check if the issue persists?
Check the connectivity between the printer and the PC
- Make sure the printer and the PC are connected to the same wireless network.
- This printer supports only 2.4GHz network. So, the PC also should be on the 2.4GHz network.
Run HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and fix any driver issue
Click here to download the file. Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and click on 'Fix Scanning'.
If the issue persists, proceed to the next step.
