HP B210 Photosmart Plus

My HP B210 will no longer make a direct copy. I can scan to a file and print from there but I cannot make a black nor a color copy. I have tried pressing 'copy' and then pressing 'settings' to restore the defaults but that didn;t help.

 

Any help will be appreciated.

What is happening when you try to perform a direct copy? The scan feature uses the same hardware components as copy does, so theoretically speaking, if you can scan you should be able to copy. Perhaps the issue is related to the ink system, please try printing a quality report and let me know what happens;

 

  1. Load plain white paper in the input tray.
  2. On the printer control panel, touch the Setup icon (), and then touch Tools.
  3. Touch Print Quality Report. The print quality diagnostic report prints.

HP printer B210e will not copy.  I tried the quality test and blue, red and yellow printed but nothing in black ink which meant that there was no context to read to describe what the problem is.  Just colors appeared on the test sheet.  Prints from computer and the ink is all new.

The prints from the computer are likely printing a composite black and not pulling the black ink from the black ink cartridge. Have you tried changing the black cartridge to see if the issue is simply the cartridge itself?

 

If you have completed the steps presented in the document I posted in my previous message and the issue persists please call us. Don't hesitate to call, although the printer may be out of warranty, the cartridges could be in warranty; therefore, there wouldn't likely be a fee for the phone support. We will, at our option, either replace products under warranty that prove to be defective or refund the purchase price.

 

We could even determine after troubleshooting that it is a problem with the printer, in which case we could offer you a discount on a newer model.

 

What you can do, is use the following link to create yourself a case number, then call and it may help speed up the call process:

Step 1. Open link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
Step 2. Enter Product number or select to auto detect
Step 3. Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"
Step 4. Scroll down and click on HP contact options - click on Get phone number

Case number and phone number appear. 

 

To find the “Warranty Ends” date, look in the following table for the date's location on each product. The date follows the YYYY/MM/DD or YYYY/MM format, where YYYY indicates the year, MM indicates the month, and DD indicates the day.

I'm having the same problem with the 

HP Photosmart e-All-in-One Printer - D110.

When it's set on Copy, I press OK

I get a choice of color, black, or economy. I select one, and press OK. I select 1 copy, and press OK.

It goes back to the "Copy" icon, and nothing happens.

 

Starting again takes me through the same circle, but goes nowhere. It can scan, print from the scanner, and print from the computer. But it won't copy.

I tried to print quality report, it didn't. 

I tried to look for help, but it said the wireless wasn't connected.

I connected to the wireless, but it still won't print the quality report.
