Hp Envy 5646
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there

I recently bought a HP envy 5646 and it has been running fine except for one little detail. When I try to scan by pressing the physical button on the scanner and selecting 'save as pdf', the scanner runs and opens on my machine while saving it to my 'documents' folder.

What I would wish for is to see the 'save as' dialog, so that I can choose the location of the file.

I have checked the properties of scanning in the HP series printer assistant, where I found the checkbox, under advanced settings -> destination that says "Show dialog box save as", and this checkbox has indeed been set. I have tried turning it off and on again and saving the settings. And I have also tried to uninstall and install the driver again. Nothing works, and this is indeed not a huge problem, but I am wondering why this is not working, since there is a specific setting for this.

My operating system is windows 10 and besides this little issue the printer is working fine. Any ideas and help would be appreciated.
