HP Office Jet Pro 8620

HP Office Jet Pro
Microsoft Windows Server 2012 and older

I moved in March and I have an HP Office Jet Pro. There is a cord plugged to the outlet. I can send faxed without problem.and  I turn off the message option on my ladfline  to receive incoming. It tells me that I am missing a cord.

Are you using a dedicated fax line or a shared line?

Make sure you are using a 2 wire phone cable that came with the printer.

Connect the cable to Line 1 port at the back of the printer and the other end to the telephone jack.

 

Run a fax test on the printer.

On the printer screen, go to setup > fax > tools > run fax test

This will let you know if there are any issues related to fax. Share the result on your next post.
