Solved!

HP OfficeJet 8010 series -features locked - cannot change wireless setting - new router

HP Recommended
OfficeJet 8017

I have changed my router, password etc in the house. All devices reconnected but printer does not allow me to change settings because features are locked. Cannot reset to factory settings. Cannot connect to the EWS as the printer is not connected to the network.

Please help!! How to unlock or how to do hard reset back to factory settings. Could not find an ethernet port either to connectr to laptop directly.

Need this done quickly.

thank you

Hello,

I have sent you a private message with instructions to reset the printer. Please only change the fields quoted in my private message. Afterwards I invite you to come back here.

I ask you not to republish the procedure indicated in my PM in the public community and I thank you for doing so.

I remain at your disposal in case of need.
