HP OfficeJet Pro 7740
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an OfficeJet Pro 7740 it works great except when I try to scan at high resolution - 600 or 1200 dpi. Anything below that, 300dpi and lower and it scans and works no problem. When scanning at high resolution I get lines through my scan as shown below. What is causing this and how can it be fixed?

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

There is a problem with the power supply here.

Solution: Step 3: Reset the printer

Follow this note: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to a wall outlet.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
