I bought this new printer some days ago.  I can not scan documents in my email. I received an error message that the internet is not connected however, the WIFI light is lit.  I reset the wifi connection and still it does not work. I need help please.  I am trying to find any contact number from  HP but unfortunately I have not found any. This is very frustrating .Now I have to go to work for scanning documents.

Follow the steps below-

 

Use HP Print and Scan Doctor

Download HP Print and Scan Doctor and run the program. It will automatically diagnose and fix any printer connectivity issues.

Assign manual IP to the printer

The steps on how to set a manual IP address can be found here.

For the DNS servers please use 8.8.8.8 for the Manual Preferred DNS Server and 8.8.4.4 for the Alternate DNS server. These are Google’s public DNS servers
