The printer stopped scanning. It has been scanning fine ever since I got it. When the Print, Scan and Fax window is open, the Scan dialog box will not open when clicked. I un-installed the printer and accessories, downloaded the driver for the printer from the HP website and installed it. It continues to print fine, but it still won’t scan and does not show an error message when I try to open the Scan dialog box

Please Uninstall and Reinstall the FULL feature software following these steps:
1. Uninstall the software in your computer
2. Download and save the FULL feature software (do not install it online)
The following resource will help you :
Key in your printer model, Operating System and download & install the FULL feature software.
3. Install the FULL feature “Saved” software
Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.
