I have issue:
macOS 10.15 Catalina and HP Scanjet 300 Flatbed Scanner
Downloaded latest software from HP site, scanner has been installed but don't work. Everytime I tried to scan it says com.apple.image error 704. I have tried many differnet scanning software - the same result. It looks like the scanner drivers are not compatible with 10.15 Catalina yet. Can someone help me ?

I understand the inconvenience caused. I would recommend you to go through a similar post that speaks about the scanning issues after Mac OS update.
