HP Smart Mobile Fax
Android 9.0 Pie

Recently, the app started treating PDF files incorrectly.  I often have to edit, sign & fax emailled PDF documents. I would do that with Adobe Acrobat, send the file to my Overdrive directory then go to HP Smart Mobile Fax and choose the file. It looks correct when I choose it (# pages and edits), but when it shows ready to send, it has the original PDF # of pages, not the edited version. It then shows all removed pages and no edits(when zooming in to see it again).   If I compress the PDF in Adobe and then save, that seems to work, but that requires extra steps not needed before.

Yes. I save it after editing and then import into Mobile Fax.  It looks OK (edited) when it shows me the pages after import, but after clicking OK, it shows the original unedited version of the PDF when zooming into it, so it will fax the unedited version.  Used to not do this before a recent update.   Deleting and reinstalling the app made no difference.

Hmm.  Not a printer issue, just mobile fax function android edition.  This issue is not present with the current Windows App, nor the Android app  version 2 weeks ago.

Printer firmware is current, but I am not using the printer at all with this task.
