Hi everyone

When scanning from the feeder, you are limited to 300 dpi.   Scanning from the flatbed can be done up to 1200 dpi.   You need to change your Source Setting from "use document feeder if loaded" to "flatbed" and you should see the additional resolutions presented.

Hope this helps!

Hello,

Please try these.

1. After you installed HP full solution software, please open the "HP Scan" shorcut at your desktop.

2. Once you double click the icon, you can either select which type of scanner source you want whether from 'Automatic Doucment Feeder (ADF) or 'Flatbed Glass'.

  • If you select 'Automatic Document Feeder', the default resolution will be 300 dpi. And the maximum is also 300 dpi.
  • If you select 'Flatbed Glass', the default resolution will be 600 dpi. And the maximum can go higher 4800dpi.

Hope this helps.

Thank you.
