@Madlad777,

Thanks for reaching out to the HP Support community!

  • What is the model of your printer?
  • What application are you using to scan the documents?

Please provide the above information to assist you with accurate resolution.

Cheers!

@Madlad777,

Could you be more specific about the app that you are using for scanning? (please share the screenshot of the app)

Is it the HP Solution Center that you use for scanning or any other application from Microsoft?

If you are using HP Solution Center, you go to Settings >Scan settings and change the dpi or resolution

If you do not have the Solution center, you can download it from here.

With the Solution center, you can manage various settings related to the printer.

Let me know if this helps.

Hi

Yes I use the HP Solution Center softwaren for my scanner

Once I go to scan settings, how do I then reduce the DPI to 75?

Thank you so much for your help in this matter

HP Recommended

@Madlad777,

Go to Scan settings > Scan Document settings / Scan Picture settings > change the resolution

Depending on whether you are scanning a document or a phone, please select scan document settings/picture settings and make changes accordingly.

Let me know if this helps.
