fax forwarding need to be disable, how to do it

Thanks for engaging in the HP Forums! I see by your post that you are looking to disable the fax forwarding feature. I will certainly do my best to help you!

 

Try the steps mentioned below to try and disable the Fax forwarding on your Officejet 5610v printer.

 

1. On the control panel, press the wrench icon to get the setup menu.

2. Use the arrow buttons to select the Basic Fax Setup (You might need to select the Advance Fax setup if the option is not available under the Basic setup)
3. Use the arrow buttons to select the Receive Options menu, and then press the OK button.
4. Use the arrow buttons to select the Forward Fax menu, and then press the OK button.
5. Use the arrow buttons to select the On or Off option, and then press the OK button.

That didn't work, I follow the steps that you said, never did see nothing about fax forwarding need another anwer to my question.

Thanks for the update!

 

Since the fax forwarding option is not found, I would suggest you restore all the printer settings to its default state to disable the fax forwarding. Here are the steps:

 

  1. Unplug the power cord from the product, and wait 20 seconds.
  2. Press and hold # and 3 while plugging in the power cord to the product.
  3. Release the buttons after the product starts up. The product will now be reset to factory defaults.
