The new version of Hp Smart is useless. It is slow fallsover regularly and makes scanning repetitive tasks almost impossible.

How can i return to the previous version which worked well.

Main problems

Programme regularly changes scanning settings = you have to watch all the settings at every scan.

Programme crashes after 2 or 3 scan edits.

Sequential file name setting has ceased to exist. You now have to accept what Hp gives you or type in your own every time.

HP Recommended

I have used my HP Deskjet 1050 just fine for years, and have scanned lots of documents.  When I try to scan a document today, it says add a printer, then says it can't find a printer.  It wants it can't fine any printer and it wants a printer on a WiFi.  My HP Deskjet 1050 is NOT on a network, and DOES NOT have WiFi capability.  I want a version that work just fine with my older printer.
