This is the error message I am receiving when I try to select scan to computer: You cannot use this function because it has been disabled. For more information, contact the person who set up the printer.

@svmalone, Welcome to HP Support Community!
Have you installed the HP Smart app?
If not, Go to 123.hp.com, type your printer model, and then follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the app.
Can you scan using HP Smart?
Use Smart Tasks to scan using your printer front panel:
