Solved!

I can print but I can't scan

Asus laptop ISH7TUJU
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have the Desktop 2050 working and I am able to print. When I want to scan a document a error window pops up stating: 

 

Can't find HP deskjet 2050 j510 series

 

I already tried: 

 

- Re-installing the correct driver (full driver package)

- Turning PC off and back on

 

Does anyone have a solution?

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

Please Uninstall and Reinstall the FULL feature software following these steps:

1. Uninstall the software in your computer
2. Download and save the FULL feature software (do not install it online)
The following resource will help you :
https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers

Key in your printer model, Operating System and download & install the FULL feature software.

3. Install the FULL feature “Saved” software

Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.

How to Uninstall Download & Reinstall a Printer software
