Hi, I have recently got a new Dell All in One computer and I have set up my printer wirelessly which works perfectly fine. But when I try to scan something it doesn't work. It shows a message on my printer saying NO OCR application installed. I even tried scanning with the USB cable attached with the computer but same thing. Any help would be appricated it. Thank you!

Hi! @Shub1212, Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Forums!

I understand you have issues scanning from your printer.

Don't worry I'll try to help you out.

Did you make any changes to your printer?

Does the issue persist when making a copy from your printer?

As you mentioned when you scan you are getting error NO OCR application installed on your PC.

Please try the steps recommended below.

If the copy works fine uninstall the printer software from the root level and install the full feature printer software on your PC.

In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.

Select your HP printer.

Select Uninstall.

In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.

In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”

Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.

Type printui.exe /s and click OK.

Click on Drivers tab.

Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click remove at the bottom.

Select OK.

Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.

Close Devices and Printers.

Link to update the full feature printer software.

Also, download and run print and scan doctor on your PC and check if it helps.
