Note: From May 1, 2024, the HP Scan and Capture app will no longer be available (retired) in the Microsoft Store and HP will not release any further app updates. We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

I called HP Support and they got it working for about a day, then it stopped.  I then uninstalled all of my drivers and reinstalled.  It worked for about 2 days.  Now I again cannot get the feeder to computer scanning to work.  PLEASE HELP

I see that you have issues with scanning using the feeder, to be able to assist you further, I'd like to know the following-

 

What happens when you copy using the ADF?

Which application are you trying to scan from?

Is there any error message when you try to scan?

Does the flatbed scanning work fine?

 

Meanwhile, Update the printer firmware

Download available firmware updates from the HP website

With the printer on and connected to the computer, go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads, and then identify your printer. Look for and install any available firmware updates. Refer to the document HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
