We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

Printer is 2 weeks old.  Yesterday I was able to scan to email, and today all that I get is a failure notice.  I’ve rebooted, switched over to an unused band of my WiFi network and its not worked

@AllisonSL, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

Restart the wireless router and the printer.

Try scanning to email and check if the issue persists.

 

  1. Obtain the IP address of the printer – You can touch the “wireless” icon on the printer control panel to obtain the IP address.
  2. Type the IP address at the top of your web browser to obtain the printer EWS page on your computer.
  3. If you get any security notification, click on show details/advanced and 'proceed to this website'.
  4. Go to Scan > Scan to email > Check the settings.
  5. Try scanning.

If Scan to Email Cannot Access Email Accounts, perform the steps from this document.

what has HP done for years i have always been able to scan documents and send to email yesterday  all of a sudden  I can no longer i s p ent 3 hrs on phone with tech support  we can not fix it i have tried the HP Doctor  i need this function/option FIXED at HP EXPENSE.  I'm so mad  why would you all remove or block this function
