MY HP OFFICEJET 5740 ALL-IN-ONE PRINT/SCAN/COPY SCANS AND PRINTS FROM THE INTERNET FINE BUT IT WILL NOT ALLOW ME TO MAKE A PHYSICAL COPY. A MESSAGE THAT SAYS, "DOCUMENT FEEDER WAS UNABLE TO PICK UP THE ORIGINAL." HELP!

I'd recommend you follow the steps from the document ADF does not pick paper or feeds in too many sheets to resolve the issue. If the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

After troubleshooting my problem, I discovered my scanner light does not illuminate. Can this bulb/light be replaced? How and where can I locate what I need or is my printer no longer usable?
