FAX TEST REPORT
THE FAX DETECTS AN ACTIVE TELEPHONE LINE PASS
THE PHONE CORD IS CONNECTED TO THE CORRECT PORT PASS
TELEPHONE LINE CURRENT TEST PASS
DIAL TONE DETECTED ON TELEPHONE LINE FAIL
NO DIAL TONE DETECTED.
IF I PLUG IN A PHONE TO THE SAME JACK I HAVE A DAIL TONE AND CAN MADE CALLS
I TRIED THREE DIFFERENT PHONE CORDS TWO LINE HAD TWO LINE IN THE CORD AND THE OTHER WAS 4 LINES CORD.
I HAVE RESET THE PRINT A FEW TIME NOW

I suggest you keep the printer Firmware updated. You can refer to this Link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02919168
Also follow the instructions in this Link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04935044 to ensure you have setup the Fax properly

make sure you are plugged into the correct port on the printer. Some have a line port and a port to connect a phone extension. Plugging into the wrong one can generate the issue you are having. If that is not the case the model could be bad.
